Ricardo Trigo received University of Lisbon/Caixa Geral de Depósitos Award

Ricardo Trigo received the University of Lisbon / Caixa Geral de Depósitos award in Earth Sciences in the 2023 edition and Rita Tavares and Carla Silva a commendation. These awards aim at increasing the visibility of high quality scientific achievements of Lisbon University. Both Ricardo and Rita acknowledge that this award is also the outcome of collective work in IDL, and international collaborations, including MSc and PhD students in FCUL. In the last years several IDL researchers have received this award or commendation: 2022 Ana Russo, Miguel Brito and João Duarte; 2021: Alexandre Ramos; 2020: Pedro Soares. It is a great honor for IDL to see the recognition of the leading role of its researchers in Earth Sciences in Lisbon University.
