CSI Seismology in Colégio de Santa Doroteia
In the past month IDL received the students of Colégio de Santa Doroteia and also visited their school. The objective of these visits was to complement the knowledge aquired by the students on earthquakes through interactive educational experiments.
In the visit to IDL/FCUL seismologic educational activities, students of the 10th school year had the chance to simulate what do in case of an earthquake, to observe the working principle of a seismometer, to see the historical evolution of seismometers...Luís Matias visited the Colégio, being one of the speakers of the 2017 Cultural Week of the school.
