Academic Degree and field of specialization: 

I’ m Geologist with Degree in Geology (B.Sc), master's degree (Operational Geology) and PhD (Geological Processes) from the University of Coimbra. In addition to several other experiences, my field of specialization is focused, in general, on natural radioactivity, radon measurements, geological processes and well-logs.

t LeaRn4LIFE project financed by the EU (project 101074516), its main objective is to develop and implement training programs that allow certification and technical qualification, as well as the training of professionals who carry out activities in the area of radon. The project also aims to raise awareness among citizens about the issue of radon. The project is the result of a partnership between Portugal and Spain and is coordinated by the Portuguese Environment Agency, with the University of Coimbra and the National Civil Engineering Laboratory, in Portugal, and the University of Cantabria, in Spain, also involved.
