Scientific Interests

Main Interests: 

Senior researcher in coastal and marine geology. Experience in sediment transport modeling, computational methods in geology, sea level changes and geographic information systems. Research application areas include sustainable coastal management, specifically to improve risk reduction measures and coastal interventions.

Professional experience in coordination of R&D and consultancy projects.

Lecturing and coordination of graduate and post-graduate courses, MSc and PhD student supervision in the fields of beach processes and morphology, coastal geomorphology, morphodynamics and evolution and Geographic Information Systems.
