2 of the 5 finalists of the ScienceIN2Business contest are IDL researchers

This Wednesday, Tech Labs- Innovation Center hosted the final of the contest ScienceIN2Business. 5 pitches of 5 minutes about innovative products were presented to the audience and juries. 2 of these 5 products are a result of the research done in IDL.

Sílvia Nunes presented CeaseFire, which connects scientific knowledge to prevention, decision and combat of forest fires. Rodrigo Silva introduced SOLROM-SOLar Remote Operation & Maintenance, a low-cost remote monitoring system of photovoltaic systems.
