Coastal Geology, including, processes, morphology, dynamics, sedimentology, with an emphasis in depositional environments;

Impact of extreme wave events and sedimentary signatures in coastal deposits;

Geology of the Holocene, focusing on the reconstruction of paleoenvironmental changes in coastal lowland sediments;

Management of coastal land and risk.
