Scientific Interests

Main Interests:

AR has interest in complementary areas of research, namely: evaluation of different types of weather driven natural hazards with particular emphasis to droughts, heatwaves and wildfires. In particular, on how these extreme events and also how climate change scenarios may alter their frequency or amplitude and impacts at different levels. Additionally she is also interested on the impact of climate variability and weather patterns and extremes on air quality and human mortality/morbidity.
